To Ki To >>> Barbour Beacon Range by Tokihito Yoshida

The British outdoor and sporting clothing company Barbour continues the limited “To Ki To” edition men’s collection with Tokihito Yoshida for A/W 2010.

Tokihito Yoshida, born in 1955, is a graduate from Kuwasawa Design School in Tokyo. He has previously designed for companies such as Mens Bigi, Harolds Gear and Blades Savile Row in Japan.

He was inspired by items from Barbour’s rich archive which goes as far back as 1908. The Japanese is renowned for the details that he adds to his garments. He has taken Barbour’s distinctive style and added his own signature design. Each of the jackets is crafted with a wealth of extraordinary and very functional features.

Barbour Military Jacket >>> 749,90 Euro

A multifunctional and multipocketed military inspired jacket with a 6oz thornproof wax outer and 100% Barbour classic tartan lining.

Drawing heavily on Barbour’s rich archive, this jacket is a modern fit based on their innate understanding and knowledge from Barbour's military history.

This jacket has reinforced patches and overlays with double fabric cargo pockets with both 6oz and 8oz fabrics used for strength. The variegated, seemingly ad hoc placement of the pockets is a translation of a truly customised and ergonomically designed original product. The full hood and double yoke overlays add style and protection to the jacket and a detachable vest adds an extra layer of warmth.
